Growing companies outgrow the technology that got them there.
Software that's hard to change. A vendor relationship that's drifting. A security question no one in the company can answer with confidence. I help leadership see what's happening and decide what to do next.
Free intro call, 30 minutes. No deck, no pitch.

What I do
Most of my clients are founder- or operator-led companies where technology has become important enough to affect growth, but the in-house depth to confidently decide what to do next hasn't caught up. Engagements usually start with one of these situations.
A product or platform that has aged into something hard to change
Software that has gotten messy as the business grew
No technical leadership inside the business, or not enough of it
Outsourced development that isn't going the way leadership hoped
A cybersecurity picture that keeps looking more serious the closer anyone looks
A big decision where a second opinion from someone who has done the work would pay for itself
My job is to see the situation clearly, figure out what matters, and put you in position to move. And when the right answer is somewhere else, I'll tell you that too.
How this usually works
It starts with a call. Free, and useful on its own. From there, most engagements take one of three shapes.
Second opinion
A short, fixed-scope read on the codebase, the vendor, the security posture, or the decision on the table. You get findings and a recommendation in plain language.
Advisory support
I sit on your side of the table for the technical calls: vendors, hiring, architecture, roadmap. Until that judgment lives in-house.
Implementation
When the answer is to build or fix something, I bring people I trust and see it through.
Selected work
Over a decade in. 100+ software projects and cybersecurity assessments. A mix of contexts where the stakes were real.

LSU
Hired to advise student founders and support campus entrepreneurship. Serve on the Computer Science Advisory Board and have organized and spoken at events from hackathons to Red Bull Basement University.

Louisiana Department of Health
Rebuilt the system that generates license renewal letters for Louisiana's Operator Certification Program: annual renewals for thousands of operators statewide.

Tomb Raider
Built tombraider.com with the creative house that designed it. The site reached 715K active users and 23K account registrations in its first ten months.

CoreForce
Built the mobile app for Campus Safe, CoreForce's patented emergency alert platform connecting school personnel to nearby officers and 911 dispatch. CoreForce says it puts officers on scene 5 to 7 minutes faster.

Parking Guidance Systems
Built dashboards that turn occupancy, vehicle, revenue, and turnover data into decisions parking operators can act on. PGS later acquired ParkZen, one of my advisory clients.

Jackson Offshore
Led a maritime cybersecurity assessment for this offshore vessel operator: penetration testing and IT/OT risk work across vessel networks, onboard systems, and physical access.
What clients say
What it's like to work with me, in their words.
“Consistently exceeds expectations, offering expertise, adaptability, and seamless partnership. Highly recommended.”
“Listened to our vision while also bringing thoughtful ideas to the table. We got personalized attention every step of the way and felt like a priority throughout the entire process.”
“Helped us transform complex parking data into an elegant solution that our clients and their customers love. With the technical expertise and daily communication, it felt like working with an extension of our team rather than an outside vendor.”
A call is the best way to figure out whether I can help
Bring the situation as it actually is, even the messy parts. We'll talk it through, and you'll leave with a clearer read and a recommended next step.
